"It is never to late to be what you might have been." -- George Eliot

I came to Crested Butte as an adult intern afer finding a new career in my 30's. My plan was to challenge myself for one winter in outdoor recreation, but then I fell in love with the job, the people, the mountains and I haven't been able to leave.

Where were you born and raised?
I was born and raised on the out skirts of Philadelphia.

How long have you lived in Crested Butte?
I came to CB in the Winter of 2014/2015.

Why did you choose to work with people with disabilities?
I like to say this career chose me. After years of not knowing what I wanted to be when I "grew up" I decided to go back to school and I almost accidentally ended up in Recreational Therapy. This has been an extremely rewarding career and working with people with disabilities has given me more then I could ever give to them.

How did you come to work with the ASC? How long have you been here?
I came as an intern and never left. I'm in my 4th season at ASC. I have been an intern, volunteer and now instuctor.

How long have you been skiing/snowboarding?
I'd like to say since I was a kid, but it turns out I didn't really learn until moving to CB!

What's your favorite restaurant in Crested Butte?
The Sunflower/Supper

What is your favorite ski resort?
My home mountain- Mt. Crested Butte
