Coming from Crested Butte:
The Lacy Arena is located on Highway 135, one half mile south of The Club at Crested Butte's entrance on the left-hand, south-bound side.

Coming from Gunnison:
Head north on Highway 135 and drive 24.2 miles. Lacy Arena will be on the right-hand, north-bound side. Across the street from the south entrance of Riverland.

Safe Ride:
Sponsored by Turner Toyota. We want all of our guests to get to and from the Gala safely.

You and your guests have two options for a safe ride at the Gala:

  • The Adaptive Sports Center will shuttle Gala guests from the 4-way stop to the Lacy Arena at 5:15 pm. We will also shuttle guests home after the Gala to the 4-way or anywhere on the North end of the valley. If you would like to take advantage of the shuttle to the Gala, please email Jessica at
  • Alternatively, you can set up private transportation through Crested Butte Specialty Services for a fee.

Touch Pad Bidding:
To increase the efficiency of check in and check out and to make bidding as easy as possible for our guests, the Adaptive Sports Center is offering touch-pad bidding for the silent auction at the Gala this year. When you arrive, the staff can affiliate a credit card to your bidder number. Touch- pads will be on the tables along with volunteers wearing silver cowboy hats. At the end of the evening, you can choose to either pay with that credit card, or pay with a check. Paying with a check saves the Adaptive Sports Center credit card processing fees and is the preferred payment method.

When bidding you can set a Max Bid!
A Max Bid is the maximum amount you are willing to spend on an item you want! Setting a Max Bid does not mean you will spend that much. Your bid will only rise when someone outbids you! The computer will automatically up your bid by the noted bid increments. Ask any Volunteer with a touch- pad (wearing a sparkly silver cowboy hat) to help you do this.

Bid using your Smartphone!
In the addition to using a touch- pad, we also have the option this year for you to use your smartphone to bid. If you would like to use this option, go to using your web browser and enter your bidder number!
