Crested Butte - Home of the Adaptive Sports Center

The Adaptive Sports Center (ASC) is set high in the Rocky Mountains and is surrounded by pristine wilderness areas, complete with high snow-covered peaks, beautiful rivers and mountainsides covered with wildflowers. The scenery and natural areas in and around Crested Butte are ideal for winter activities and summer activities alike.

Visitors to the ASC are treated to the historic town of Crested Butte--one of the best kept secrets in the Rockies--as well as the mountain ski resort of Mt. Crested Butte. With only three miles between the two towns, transportation is easy with free, wheelchair accessible shuttles.

Crested Butte has the relaxed feel of a small mountain town, yet still has many wonderful restaurants and a wide array of shopping opportunities. Many stores have wheelchair accessible entrances. Mt. Crested Butte offers all of the amenities of a ski resort, with restaurants and ski shops surrounding the base area.
