Bridges of the Butte 24-Hour Townie Tour

June 26 - 27, 2010
3 p.m. - 3 p.m.

This one-of-a-kind 24-hour bike tour loops through downtown Crested Butte, meandering across the town’s bridges. Sign up solo and brave the bike seat for all 24 hours, or put together a team of your friends and tour the town in shifts as day turns to night. Tune up your townie bicycle and find a fabulous costume, because this is one townie takeover you don’t want to miss. Proceeds from the event go to the Adaptive Sports Center.

This event would not have been possible without the many wonderful volunteers who helped out throughout the race as course marshals, base camp volunteers and clean-up crew. We would also like to thank all of you who cheered us on, and those who set up tables outside their homes with fresh-baked cookies and cold drinks for our riders.

Finally, we thank The Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce for PR in conjunction with Fat Tire Bike Week, and the Crested Butte Marshall’s Department and The Town of Crested Butte for their support of our event.
