The Adaptive Sports Center at Crested Butte Mountain Resort The Adaptive Sports Center's Administrative and main Programming offices are located at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort in the lower level of the Treasury Building. Our mountain location is home to state-of-the-art adaptive equipment including monoskis, biskis, snowboards and downhill mountain bikes. Additionally, we have three locker rooms with over 200 ski lockers available for seasonal or short-term rental. In the years since we expanded our main offices in 2010, our ski, snowboard and downhill mountain biking programs have grown to become one of the best in the outdoor recreation industry. With access to incredible terrain and a large selection of adaptive equipment, your adrenaline rush will start the moment you walk through our doors. To top it all off, we have included a lounging area that provides you with a comfortable space to relax after a day of adventuring and get to know your instructor, all of whom are highly trained in the art of making hot cocoa. The Kelsey Wright Building The Adaptive Sports Center is breaking ground in Spring 2018 on the Kelsey Wright Building in the Crested Butte Mountain Resort Base Area. The new building will double the square footage we currently have to run programs and house participants, and is ideally situated for winter offerings with ski-in, ski-out access. Key elements of the facility include: Participant assessment space Equipment modification and fit-up area Physical therapy and exercise room Adaptive climbing wall One floor dedicated to client housing Industrial kitchen for food service Participant resource library Administration workstations and offices Meeting area and classroom Basement for locker rentals $14 million is needed to improve and expand our services, while also securing our organizational sustainability over the long term. The Kelsey Wright Building Campaign is the Adaptive Sports Center’s most important campaign in our 30-year history. With your support, we can improve the lives of thousands of individuals for decades to come. Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution.
