Ice Climb

Scale frozen waterfalls around Crested Butte while putting your critical thinking skills and endurance to the test. Ice climbing is a serene and challenging sport that challenges not just your strength, but your critical thinking and strategy as well. Using rope-haul systems and prosthetic crampon and ice tool attachments, our instructors can adapt this sport to a wide range of ability levels.

Our climbing sites are about 1.5 beautiful driving hours from Crested Butte in Lake City, Colorado and climbing days are dependent on ice and road conditions. The ASC reserves the right to cancel or postpone this activity if either of these conditions are not suitable.

Our ice climbing program can be tailored for full-day adventures.

Due to demanding access and risk management considerations, our ice climbing program is not the right choice for all populations. Please inquire with Adaptive Sports Center for more details before booking. Advanced booking a minimum of 2 weeks before desired date will be required.
