Susanna was born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO and her parents taught her as soon as they could how awesome skiing and mountain biking were. She learned to do both in Summit County, meanwhile falling in love with the ski-town life. She made it a goal to make that where she lived as soon as she could. Susanna moved to the Gunnison Valley from Colorado Springs in 2009 to attend college at Western State Colorado University and never left. Now she loves skiing, biking, motorsports and traveling with her husband Kevin and dog Avey. She joined the ASC in 2016 and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it since then.

Why did you choose to work with people with disabilities?
It is super important to me to be involved in organizations like Adaptive, that allows me to help people get out and get after it! I have met some of the most amazing and inspiring people and I am so very grateful.  

What’s your favorite thing about working at the Adaptive Sports Center?
I love our Team! Seeing everyone come to work every day with such a great attitude and being so excited to work with all of our participants is awesome!
