Ski bikes are yet another way to experience the slopes of Crested Butte, and perfect for those needing extra balance support. EXPERIENCE: Take the wheels off a bike, add skis and voilà — a ski bike is born. Ski biking is a new sport that is quickly gaining popularity. Riders wear very short skis called snowblades to help guide the ski bike down the slopes. As with all of our programs, instructors teach basic movements to new skiers, and use the latest technology to adapt equipment for participants with disabilities. Please note: The Adaptive Sports Center ski bikes are reserved for adaptive participants only. The ASC does not rent ski bikes to the public.
