Driving Directions:

Coming from Crested Butte: The Lacy Arena is located on Highway 135, one-half mile south of The Club at Crested Butte's entrance on the left-hand, south-bound side, across the street from the south entrance of Riverland.

Coming from Gunnison: Head north on Highway 135 and drive about 24 miles. Lacy Arena will be on the right-hand, north-bound side, across the street from the south entrance of Riverland.

Schedule Overview:

5:00 pm - Safe Ride pickup at 4-way stop in Crested Butte begins*

*Please look for a separate email to be sent on July 30^th about Safe Ride shuttle options.

5:15 pm - Doors open; Silent and Big Board Auctions open

5:15 - 6:45 pm - Cocktails and appetizers

7:00 pm - Big Board Auction closes; guests are seated for dinner

7:45 pm - Silent Auction closes

8:10 pm - Live Auction begins

Attire:

Western Formal. The floor of the Lacy Arena is dirt, so please consider cowboy boots or closed-toed shoes. The Lacy Arena gets chilly, and we will have fans running: bring a jacket or wear layers.

Auction Registration:

Bidding has started for the Silent Auction! To register for the auction and start bidding on Silent Auction items, look out for an email from us with the auction link. Your name, email, and credit card information are required.

Once you are registered, you can bid on the Silent Auction items and preview the Big Board and Live Auction items. Big Board and Live Auction items can be previewed under the Live Auction tab. You also have the choice to receive text messages when you have been outbid.

Consider setting a max bid for the silent auction. A max bid is the maximum amount you are willing to spend on an item you want. Our auction system will incrementally keep you in the bidding up to (but not past) your max bid without you having to monitor the item.

Payment Methods:

You can affiliate a credit card to your bidder number, pay with check, or by another method. Paying by check eliminates the credit card processing fee charged by the Adaptive Sports Center and is a preferred payment method. Additional payment methods accepted include ACH, appreciated stock, Donor-Advised Funds, and IRA distributions.

Please note that we will charge the remaining balance of all attendees to their credit card on file on the morning of Tuesday, August 4, 2026. If you don't want to be charged, please let Shelby Weisburg, sweisburg@adaptivesports.org, know by Monday, August 3^rd at 5 pm.

Express Check-in:
Please look for a separate email from the auction company (AES) on August 1^st at noon about express check-in to skip the lines at the Gala! Completing the online express check-in process before 2 pm on Sunday, August 2^nd will simplify and expedite your entry upon arrival at the gala.

Touch-Pad Bidding:
To make the bidding and check-in/check-out process most efficient for our guests, the Adaptive Sports Center is offering touch-pad bidding for the Silent Auction. Touch-pads will be available on auction tables, and volunteers with touch-pads will be available as well. In addition to using a touch-pad, you can continue to bid on your smartphone.

Registration & Check-In:

Monday, August 3^rd
7 am - 9 am: Registration and check-in at The Club at Crested Butte

Schedule Overview:

7:00 am - Breakfast buffet for golfers at The Club at Crested Butte
9:00 am - Shotgun start
2:30 pm - Awards, cocktails, and BBQ

Format:
Four-person golf scramble. Each person hits his/her tee shot off each tee. The best shot will then be chosen, and each player will play his or her next shot from that spot. This process will continue until the ball is holed.

Rules:
USGA rules govern all play with the following exceptions: once the best shot is selected, all other balls must be played within one club length from the selected ball and must remain in the same condition as the ball chosen. For example, if a selected shot is in the rough, the remaining balls must be played from the rough.

All players must use at least two of their tee shots.

Men = blue tees
Women = silver tees
Men over 60 may use the brown tees

Ties for overall champion will be broken by a scorecard playoff on the #1 handicap hole.

Handicap:
Each team receives 20% of the team’s total index with a maximum of 30 for men and 36 for women.

Trophies:
Trophies will be awarded to the gross and net champions and runners-up in both the men’s and women’s categories at the awards ceremony following the tournament.

Advantage Pack:
Purchase the Advantage Pack for $50 per player to allow each player to have three mulligans (one drive, one fairway shot, and one putt do-over). Each player needs to purchase their own pack, and advantages cannot be traded with teammates.

Signature Properties Power Play: May be purchased for an additional $25. This is a mulligan of your choice and can be used either on the drive, fairway shot, or putt do-over!
