The Adaptive Sports Center is committed to serving our community through the following programs: Community Kids, Locals Program, and Six Points. COMMUNITY KIDS SUMMER DAY CAMP Cost: Suggested rate is $50 per day.ASC list rate for a full day of programming is $95/person. If you are able to contribute more toward camp, it will help make sure our scholarship fund is available for all those that need it. Who: These camps are for kids with disabilities, ages 5-18, and are inclusive to siblings, cousins, and friends with or without disabilities. Pickup: We pick up in Gunnison and Crested Butte for all activities. Please see the schedule below. Register: All participants are required to register in advance. Parents are also required to sign a Liability Waiver & “Permission for Transport” form. Parents, guardians, or teachers must sign children in and out each day. REGISTER Respite Nights Disabling Barriers has provided the ASC funding for a series of respite nights, or a parents' night out, to support families who have children with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Childcare is free of charge for all children in the household and includes indoor rock climbing, crafts, and a movie, plus a $100 reimbursement for dinner out in town. Please register early as space is limited. REGISTER Six Points Six Points, in Gunnison, serves people with intellectual disabilities and traumatic brain injuries.
