Experience Crested Butte’s incredible wildflowers, aspen groves and mountain ranges by strolling up an easygoing trail or tackling a technical peak climb.

Hikes in the breathtaking Rocky Mountains set the perfect pace for soaking in our alpine wonderland while getting fresh air and exercise.

July is the best month to experience the wildflowers of Crested Butte, the Wildflower Capital of Colorado. September is the best month to experience the golden fall foliage. Adaptive Sports Center instructors will guide you through easy-going scenic trails or on a more challenging hike up to the peak of Mt. Crested Butte for a 360-degree view.

Crested Butte hiking participants should wear hiking boots or durable tennis shoes with good traction, and bring a water bottle, extra layers, and sunscreen.

Private lessons
are for individuals with disabilities/special needs or family members who want one-on-one instruction.

Group lessons are for individuals who do not need private instruction and have similar hiking ability as others in the group.
