LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Adaptive Sports Center, Crested Butte, Colorado

The Adaptive Sports Center provides adaptive and therapeutic adventure programming for people with disabilities and other special needs, their friends, and their family members. We operate in a fast‑paced, professional environment at the Crested Butte Mountain Resort base area and are seeking a detail‑oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in supporting our visiting organizations and camps by managing travel logistics, lodging arrangements, and activity scheduling. This position also assists the Logistics Manager with supervision of our seasonal internship program and occasionally leads adaptive field‑based adventure activities.

This role is highly interactive and requires exceptional professionalism, clear communication, strong planning skills, and the ability to problem‑solve independently in a dynamic environment. A CTRS certification is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate travel, lodging, scheduling, and activity details for visiting organizations
  • Serve as a frontline representative of the ASC with partner organizations and participants
  • Support the Logistics Manager in numerous key logistical areas and supervising seasonal interns
  • Lead adaptive adventure activities on occasion
  • Maintain high standards of organization, communication, and mission‑based representation
  • Exercise creativity and independent problem‑solving when logistical challenges arise

Qualifications Required

  • Willingness and ability to work very well with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, and with those who have special needs and disabilities
  • Strong organizational, communication, and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced and interactive environment
  • Occasional evening work and possible travel
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must pass all state and federal background checks

Preferred

  • CTRS certification
  • Experience in logistics, outdoor programming, or partner‑facing roles
  • Familiarity with adventure-based programming, adaptive sports or therapeutic recreation
     

Compensation & Benefits
This is a 12‑month, year‑round, non‑exempt position. Compensation is based on experience, with a starting salary range of $47,000 - $57,000 (hourly equivalent of $22.60 - $27.40), plus a competitive benefits package including:

OFFICE COORDINATOR

Job Status: Full-time; Year-round: Non-Exempt

The Adaptive Sports Center provides adaptive and therapeutic adventure programming for people with disabilities and other special needs, their friends, and their family members. We operate in a fast‑paced, professional environment at the Crested Butte Mountain Resort base area and are seeking a detail‑oriented Office Coordinator to join our team.

The Office Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Adaptive Sports Center organization. Key duties include managing office communications, ordering supplies, other administrative support, and customer service tasks. The OC position is also responsible for managing key systems within the ASC, such as its email, phone, POS/Square, locker room, and emergency action plan.

Specific Responsibilities

Office Management

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the organization’s IT, computer, email, and phone systems, and manage all of these systems to ensure the office runs efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage the organization’s email system, including distribution lists.
  • Manage all IT service work and tech ordering.
  • Manage Kelsey Wright Building’s access control system.
  • Oversee all aspects of the organization's Point of Sale (POS) system, including transaction management, timely posting of POS deposits into QuickBooks Online, and management and tracking of merchandise.
  • Manage mail for the organization; pick up/deliver mail at the post office multiple times a week
  • Manage the Epic Promise ticket and pass program.
  • Maintain staff/board birthday calendar and initiate cards. Assist with holiday and birthday decorations.
  • Monitor and maintain all office supplies and equipment.

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support for the Executive Director.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed.
  • Coordinate staff meetings as needed.
  • Coordinate logistics and facilitate quarterly board meetings and take minutes.
  • Assist with management of board documentation, including board contracts, bylaws, membership, and handbook.
  • Assist the facilities team in ensuring the Kelsey Wright Building is well-maintained, clean and presentable.

Locker Rental Management

  • Manage the locker room rentals and communications.
  • Serve as a point of contact for locker room inquiries and troubleshoot locker holder issues.
  • Handle billing and receipting within QuickBooks Online for lockers and track all locker holders.

Supervisory Requirements

  • Follow organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in the nonprofit industry a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Vision requirements include close, distant, color, peripheral, depth and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced, highly interactive office environment with moderate to high noise levels.
