How long have you been skiing / snowboarding? I started skiing as a little kid but switched to snowboarding from ages 13-24. Now I'm back to two planks. How did you come to work with the Adaptive Sports Center? How long have you lived in Crested Butte? I was guiding high-end bike tours in Europe and decided that I wanted to do something more meaningful and fulfilling. I moved to Crested Butte three winters ago to teach at the ASC and haven't left! Why did you choose to work with people with disabilities? I love working with the Adaptive population because I learn more about life from them than they learn about skiing from me. What's your favorite thing about working at the Adaptive Sports Center? The people! Both the staff and participants. What do you do in your free time? Just like most people in Crested Butte, I spend my free time skiing, biking, running, boating, and petting dogs. What's a fun fact about yourself? I'm really good at winking.
