Skied from 4-8 years old, then dormant till December 2020. Snowboarded for 15 years, from 9-23 years old (now). How did you come to work with the Adaptive Sports Center? How long have you lived in Crested Butte? Moved here November 27th, 2020. Wanted to help out in such an amazing line of work at an incredible organization. Was fortunate enough to get the chance to learn in an internship program here at Adaptive Sports Center. Why did you choose to work with people with disabilities? I want to be involved with the magic of helping people of disabilities progress physically, cognitively, and in other ways that they might not have thought was possible through recreational activities. Also, want to learn how to create/facilitate experiences for those who need accommodations in order to participate in desired activities What's your favorite thing about working at the Adaptive Sports Center? My favorite thing is to experience the uniqueness of every individual and learn from all the amazing aspects each person presents as they walk through the door and step on the slope. What do you do in your free time? I practice kundalini yoga, get creative with arts, and shred the earth while following LNT principles to the best of my abilities. What's a fun fact about yourself? I taught surfing the past two summers.
