I was born in Kokomo, Indiana and raised all over from Phoenix to Denver to Dallas. What’s your favorite quote or something you live by? “There are no mistakes, just happy accidents.” - Bob Ross How long have you been skiing / snowboarding? Apart from two ski trips in college, I skied when I lived in Boulder about 15 years ago… if that tells you anything. I spent one day this past winter attempting to snowboard on Peach Tree and spent most of the day on the ground...if that tells you anything else. How did you come to work with the Adaptive Sports Center? How long have you lived in Crested Butte? I was looking for a marketing position in Crested Butte so that I could make it back here after graduation and this internship felt like the best match for me. I lived in Almont last year and have been coming to Crested Butte since I was very little. Why did you choose to work with people with disabilities? My brother has Down Syndrome, so I have always had a passion for people with disabilities. What is your favorite thing about working at the Adaptive Sports Center? The location. Who can be mad about going to work when you work in such a beautiful place? What do you do in your free time? I love to do yoga and am hoping to get my teacher training license for that soon. I also love animals and have spent a lot of time volunteering at shelters. What is a fun fact about yourself? I am a certified, class trained dog walker. Pretty official, I know.
