Nicole grew up in the bright lights of Las Vegas, Nevada, but left the desert behind and discovered “home” was playing outside in the mountains of Colorado (well, technically Idaho first). She loves mountain biking, skiing, running, yoga, smoothie-making and having fun with her husband, son, and black lab Zeke. In 2011, she received her Master’s degree in Public Health from CSU and has been following my passion to support health and wellness in her community ever since. She loves the work she gets to do at the Adaptive Sports Center and the opportunity to see the amazing participants do amazing outdoor adventure activities in and around Crested Butte.

Why did you choose to work with people with disabilities?
Health is my passion and I’ve dedicated my professional path to improving the physical, mental, and social/emotional health and well-being of historically underserved populations. The Adaptive Sports Center was the perfect place for me to continue this pursuit.
