1. What led you to join the ASC team?

The ASC has always been in my realm of awareness, but I have serendipitously become more and more involved with this community over the past year. I first heard of Adaptive as a young person when my mom came on a winter trip with the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind. In the summer of 2025, my partner and I moved to the Valley so she could instruct at the ASC, and I started volunteering on ski lessons winter 2026. When I found out my current position was open for hire, I applied immediately. And here we are! 

2. What is your favorite part about working for the ASC?

The people! The participants, their families, the instructors, our admin—everyone is here because they are enthusiastic about this community. I love the joy, care, and fun I witness every day. It’s a privilege to serve this community and help provide wider access to outdoor recreation.
