Colorado Springs, CO What's your favorite quote or something that you live by? "Everything happens for a reason." How long have you been skiing / snowboarding? Snowboarding for 10 years. How did you come to work with the Adaptive Sports Center? How long have you lived in Crested Butte? I've done a lot of volunteer work with individuals with severe injuries or illnesses at Western Colorado University and at PT clinics in Gunnison, CO. This is my 6th year in CB. Why did you choose to work with people with disabilities? Because of my volunteer work in similar fields, I have found a passion in helping others and seeing the difference it makes in their lives. What's your favorite thing about working at the Adaptive Sports Center? It's a great community and I know I am working with individuals who genuinely care about what they are doing, which makes it a positive environment to work in. What do you do in your free time? I have a border collie who is incredibly energetic so she really keeps me motived to do my favorite activities such as mountain biking and running. What's a fun fact about yourself? I have lived in India, Africa and the Caribbean.
