I’ve been cross country skiing since I was about 7, and I started downhill skiing when I visited Colorado when I was 16 How did you come to work with the Adaptive Sports Center? How long have you lived in Crested Butte? I came across ASC while doing research for a class in college and I fell in love with it! I just moved here Why did you choose to work with people with disabilities? I chose to work with people with disabilities because of their determination to be and do what too many people tell them they cannot. I believe that everyone is able bodied, just to different degrees, and I want to help empower individuals who may not see that in themselves. What's your favorite thing about working at the Adaptive Sports Center? My favorite thing about working at ASC is the awesome team of staff members and all of the dogs that come to work. What do you do in your free time? In my free time, I love to hike, read, swim, play sports, and hang out with friends. I’m looking forward to getting a mountain bike this summer and learning how to ride! What is a fun fact about yourself? I know American Sign Language.
