Where were you born and / or raised?
Katy, Texas

What's your favorite quote or something that you live by?
“The things you own end up owning you. It's only after you lose everything that you're free to do anything,” Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club. I honestly love that quote, because it reminds me that the most important things in life aren’t things (as cheesy as that sounds- it’s so true).

How long have you been skiing / snowboarding?
I have never skied before coming to Adaptive, but I am learning, and I love it so far!

How did you come to work with the Adaptive Sports Center? How long have you lived in Crested Butte?
I decided to apply to work at Adaptive, because my friend Kelly recommended it, and I have always wanted to learn about adaptive sports.

Why did you choose to work with people with disabilities?
I believe that some individuals need, and deserve, more resources to reach the same goal. I believe these individuals deserve the opportunity to participate in activities they may have been told would be unachievable.

What's your favorite thing about working at the Adaptive Sports Center?
My favorite thing about working at the Adaptive Sports Center is how relaxed and fun this working environment is. As an employee at Adaptive, I am encouraged to work hard, but also have fun and ski on lunch breaks- it’s a great balance.

What do you do in your free time?
In my free time, I love to paint, draw, and play my guitar.

What's a fun fact about yourself?
I actually don’t like bar-b-que, even though I am from Texas
