Where were you born and / or raised?
Lowell, Vermont

What's your favorite quote or something that you live by?
"When in doubt, go higher."

How long have you been skiing / snowboarding?
Cross country skiing for 36 years, alpine skiing for 34 years, snowboarding for 25 years

How did you come to work with the Adaptive Sports Center? How long have you lived in Crested Butte?
I’ve lived in Crested Butte for 21 years. When I first moved here, I was working for the Crested Butte Mountain Resort as a snowboard instructor but was looking for work that was more meaningful. I love teaching and sharing knowledge in an outdoor setting and thought Adaptive Sports Center would be a way to continue perusing my passion, but with more meaning.

Why did you choose to work with people with disabilities?
I just wanted to share my passion and Adaptive Sports Center was a perfect fit.

What's your favorite thing about working at the Adaptive Sports Center?
Smiles, high fives and life-long impact.

What do you do in your free time?
I love to be in the mountains, on rivers, or exploring new places.

What's a fun fact about yourself?
I’m a 3rd generation maple syrup producer. I head back to Vermont each spring to make maple syrup with my family.
