Where were you born and / or raised?
Born and raised in Colorado.

What's your favorite quote or something that you live by?
"Slow is smooth, smooth is fast."

How long have you been skiing / snowboarding?
I've been snowboarding for 15 years and skiing for 2.

How did you come to work with the Adaptive Sports Center? How long have you lived in Crested Butte?
I came to work with the Adaptive Sports Center when I moved to Crested Butte in August of 2018 to pursue mountain biking and outdoor education. I knew Dayna, an employee there, and she bravely marched me in to the Program Director's office and the rest is history.

Why did you choose to work with people with disabilities?
This question is hard because I never chose to work in the adaptive industry until an opportunity presented itself. That was the day Dayna brought me to the Adaptive Sports Center's office. From that first moment of walking into the program office and seeing what was happening there, I knew I had to be a part of it in any way possible.

What's your favorite thing about working at the Adaptive Sports Center?
My favorite thing about working at the Adaptive Sports Center is the participants. I love their passion, desire, and drive to just be people regardless of what's going on in their lives.  It's extremely motivating to be side by side with them as they trust us (all the staff and volunteers) to step outside of their comfort zone and try new things.

What do you do in your free time?
I like to cook, climb, ski, bike, travel, and lay on the couch.

What's a fun fact about yourself?
I collect art and objects from different countries/cultures.
